I'm so excited about this new craft I made. Isn't silly how a new craft can make you feel giddy? Monogram letters and frames seem to be popping all over the blogosphere. So, I decided to put them together to decorate my front door. It was very simple and cheap too. My kind of project. I don't think I've seen anyone else do this, but if you have, please let me know so I can give credit where due. I bought a simple frame at Deseret Industries for $1.00 and the letter "F", scrapbook paper and ribbon from Roberts Crafts. I then painted the frame and the edges of the "F" off white. I mod podged the scrapbook paper onto the "F" and then hung some ribbon from the top of the frame to hold the "F". Do you like?

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute and easy project! Thanks for the idea. :-)
ReplyDeleteI've done that custom monogram project that I displayed at my iron doors with my initials in stylized form. The appeal of this design depends on where you place the monogram itself, which is why it is totally fitting to my iron entry doors due to its rigid and old-school design.
