Burlap Wrapped Frame with Cute Flower

I finally got out of my crafty funk and made this cute burlap frame today. I took apart this wreath that I couldn't stand and wrapped the burlap around the frame. I'm still obsessed with monograms so I printed up some sheet music and added the letter "F" on top. My favorite part was the cute flower in the corner. I've seen several different tutorials around bloggy world for a flower like this kind. I basically cut one large circle from burlap and two smaller circles from the sheet music. I crinkled up the sheet music to give it some shape and placed the two circles on top of the burlap circle. I then added a black button with a red button in the middle for some color. I haven't found a permanent home for it but I'm sure it will be somewhere near the piano.

  10. This is absolutely adorable! I just found this huge burlap bag from Germany yesterday at our thrift store on base. I plan on making some throw pillows or something (haven't quite decided yet), but I know there will be some remnants. I am SO stealing this ;) I'll totally give you credit though ;) LOL. I was just on another site that inspired me to dig out some old sheet music (or buy some at the thrift store). I can't wait to do this now!! Yay. Thanks for posting. Mine will probably have a home near the piano too =)
